Indian shooters Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar and Swapnil Kusale featured in the men’s 50m 3P qualification round at the Paris 2024 Olympics on Wednesday.
Kusale, on his Olympic debut, advanced to the final after finishing seventh with a score of 590-38x. Tomar, on the other hand, was ranked 11th with a total of 589-33x. Only the top eight shooters from the qualification round made the final, scheduled for August 1 (tomorrow) at 1:00 PM IST.
Liu Yukun from the People’s Republic of China, meanwhile, registered the Qualification Olympic Record with a total of 594-38x. He had also equalled the Qualification World Record of 597 last month in Munich.
Score: Swapnil Kusale (IND) finished seventh with a score of 590-38x and Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar (IND) notched 589-33x in the men’s 50m 3P qualification round. Kusale advanced to the final.
